State of implementation

• The experiences of development of citizen laboratories On different areas, this commitment is still in progress with the end date of 31 December 2024.
• Redesign of the Procedure of aid for the promotion of renewable energies. They have been carried out Two virtual workshops With employees and citizens (professionals of the sector) aimed at simplifying, redesigning forms of this type for electronic processing.

This action is framed within the Digital Modernization Plan of the Junta de Extremadura 2020-2024 and its development is still alive in the implementation of new actions.

In execution of this Plan, since September 29, 2020, at the general electronic access point of the services and procedures of the Junta de Extremadura www.juntaex.es, among the services offered in “Tuatención” (the new omnichannel management model consisting of being able to offer citizens the same response to any demand or concern, through different channels (internet-email, social networks, telephone chat and/or face-to-face), are those related to “Participation” (https://www.juntaex.es/tuatencion/participacion ) to enable citizens to exercise their rights to participate in the decision-making and public affairs of the Junta de Extremadura, implementing an instrument for collaboration in participatory processes developed by the Junta de Extremadura for the improvement of public services and the development of action plans and projects.

The instrument enabled in the aforementioned space will allow the The Directorates-General responsible for a participatory process, following the review of their proposal by the Department responsible for citizen participation, may submit to citizens’ consultation any plan, programme or project of action for the improvement of the various public services. The General Directorate through the corresponding computer application (Tuatención) uploads the proposal by establishing a start date and end of participation in it. These proposals are published on the portal of the Junta de Extremadura and the citizens by clicking on it access Miespacio, being able to ask questions and consultations on the subject that will be attended by the General Directorate. Answers to citizens’ questions and queries are also seen in Miespacio. At the end of the period of making proposals, the General Directorate publishes a final report that includes the citizens’ contributions and conclusions and measures to be adopted.

This process is displayed in the tool “Attention”, and entered into force on 1 January 2023To date, there have been 63 published and active participatory processes.
