The Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration is responsible for proposing and implementing the Government ' s Social Security and Passive Class Policy, as well as developing and developing the Government ' s Policy on Foreigners, Immigration and Emigration and Inclusion Policies.
The direction and guardianship of the management entities and common services of the Social Security, attached to the Department, without prejudice to the competences attributed to other Ministries and to other units of the Department.
The promotion and direction of the legal management of the social security and pension system.
The promotion and direction of economic and financial planning and analysis of the social security and pension system.
The direction and coordination of the management of financial resources and social security and pension expenses.
The planning and supervision of the management exercised by the collaborating entities of Social Security.
The guardianship, superior direction and coordination of the legal assistance of the management entities and common services of the Social Security.
To propose and support, in the performance of its functions, the Data Protection Delegate of the State Secretariat for Social Security and Pensions.
Any other competence that, legally or by regulation, is attributed to you.

The definition of inclusion objectives and development of a system of indicators with which to carry out the measurement, monitoring and evaluation of the inclusion objectives.
The coordination of the economic aspects of the reports of the normative impact analysis at the Department level.
Coordination of the Department’s representation to multilateral agencies and support in the preparation of studies and reports that the relationship with these multilateral agencies requires.
The development of objective indicators of inclusive growth and inequality for the Spanish economy that can be used for the design and decision-making of new policies or the reformulation of existing ones.
The promotion of the incorporation of inclusion indicators in the decision-making process and in the public policy design process.
The monitoring of beneficiaries of the set of spending and income policies and the effects of these policies in terms of inclusion and inequality, with special attention to those related to the labour market, education, health, environment, housing and innovation.
The definition and analysis of objectives linked to inclusive growth.
Continuous monitoring and evaluationex postthe degree of compliance with the objectives of inclusion and inclusive growth established, especially the Minimum Vital Income and other policies competence of the Department, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030.
The promotion and realization of assessments, studies, reports and research from a scientific perspective on the trajectories of inclusion of people belonging to different groups in a situation of vulnerability, which allow to examine the impact on these trajectories of the different public policies and benefits.
The exploitation of databases of inclusion indicators at the regional, national and international levels for the conduct of evaluations, scientific research, studies and reports that include the necessary information for decision-making by the Department ' s governing and higher bodies in relation to the policies of their competence in collaboration with the competent bodies and units.
Support and advice to different ministerial departments and other public administrations in the definition of objectives and indicators of inclusion, design of public policies and evaluation and advice from a scientific perspective of policies on inclusion, without prejudice to the competences attributed to the State Secretariat for Social Rights of the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030.

The evaluation, study, report and proposal of the regulations of the Minimum Vital Income and measures associated with the purpose of reducing inequality, poverty and the fair socio-labor participation of the most disadvantaged groups, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030.
The relationship and technical collaboration with the department responsible for the European Social Fund and with other departments competent in other relevant funds in the field of social inclusion, as well as with the Autonomous Communities in the field of inclusion and those social benefits limited to that field.

The exercise of the powers relating to the Data Protection Officer, provided for in Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) and Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights, for the scope of the Ministry, except for the scope of the Ministry of Social Security and its services.
