
At the meeting of the Transparency and Accountability Working Group of the Open Government Forum on November 2, 2021, the constitution of a sub-directorate General of Open Government was presentedWorking group for the reform of the Transparency Law. This working group is part of commitment 1, Reform of the Regulatory Framework, initiative 1.3 “Reform of the Transparency Law”.

The objective of the project is to bring together a group of experts, with a legal profile if possible, who will collaborate with the General Directorate of Public Governance in the initiative for the reform of the Law on Transparency, Access to Public Information and Good Governance, to adapt it to the national and international context in this field and to introduce improvements, the scope of which should be outlined in the procedures for consultation and public hearing, provided for in the Fourth Open Government Plan.
The working subgroup met for the first time on January 28, 2022, following the model of the Permanent Commission of the Forum, composed of six people representing the Public Administrations and another six representing the civil society organizations, members of the Open Government Forum.
