The Ministry of Finance and Public Service is the department of the General Administration of the State responsible for the proposal and implementation of the Government ' s policy on public finances, budgets and expenditures and public enterprises.
This Ministry is also responsible for the implementation and management of regional and local funding systems.
It is also responsible for the proposal and implementation of the Government ' s policy on public service, public employment and training of public employees; governance and organization of the General Administration of the State; procedures and inspection of services; transparency and open government; the development and monitoring of programmes to improve public management and the quality of services; and the provision of information on the economic and financial activities of the various Public Administrations.
He is also responsible for the policy of Digital Administration, as well as the coordination of the process of rationalization of information and communication technologies in the field of the General Administration of the State and its Public Agencies, and the promotion of electronic administration through the shared provision of the Common Service of Information and Communication Systems as well as the establishment of the necessary provisions and guidelines for its operation.
