The Ministry of Finance is the department of the General Administration of the State responsible for the proposal and execution of the Government's policy in the field of public finances, budgets and expenses and public companies, in addition to the other competences and powers conferred on it by the legal system.
The Ministry is also responsible for the implementation and management of regional and local financing systems and the provision of information on the economic and financial activity of the various public administrations.
