The Ministry of Health, Consumer Affairs and Social Welfare is responsible for proposing and implementing the Government ' s policy on:
health, planning and health and consumer care, as well as the exercise of the powers of the General Administration of the State to ensure citizens the right to health protection.
It is also responsible for proposing and implementing the Government ' s policy on social cohesion and inclusion, the family, the protection of minors, youth and care for dependent or disabled persons.
