The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism is the Department of the General State Administration responsible for the proposal and implementation of the Government ' s policy on:
Industry, trade and tourism that includes, among other aspects, industrial development and small and medium-sized enterprises, the promotion and defense of industrial property, the commercial policy of internationalization and of foreign investments and transactions, as well as the tourism policy and the other competences and attributions conferred by the legal system.
Likewise, it is up to this Department to promote cooperation actions and, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, international relations in these matters.
The exercise of the powers attributed to this Ministry will be carried out in coordination and without prejudice to those that correspond to other ministerial departments.
