The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is responsible for proposing and implementing the Government ' s policy in the areas of land, air and maritime transport infrastructures, which fall within the competence of the State; for the control, management and administrative regulation of the corresponding transport services; for promoting sustainable mobility, in its social, economic and environmental dimensions, including the promotion of active mobility; for the regulatory management of postal services; for promoting and directing State services relating to astronomy, geodesy, geophysics and cartography; and for planning and programming investments relating to the aforementioned infrastructures, materials and services, in order to guarantee safe and sustainable mobility, based on criteria of social justice.
