Collaboration agreement with the Third Sector Platform

On November 30, 2021, the Collaboration Agreement between the General State Administration and the Third Sector Platform, for inclusive open government communication.
This Platform is a non-profit organization that includes 28,000 entities at the national level whose objective is to defend the rights and interests of the most vulnerable groups due to disability, income or any other circumstances.
The agreement, to which the Administration will contribute 180,000 euros financed from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Fund, responds to the common will to comply with Commitment 8 of the Fourth Open Government Plan, which consists of “developing an inclusive communication of open government”, and to the will to take advantage of all resources and means, public and private, generating synergies for the achievement, among other objectives, of overcoming the digital divide and ensuring universal accessibility in the exercise of rights related to open government under conditions of equality and non-discrimination, through specific communication actions, aimed at the most vulnerable groups or with special needs, promoting their social inclusion.

The Third Sector Platform It celebrates its last day in the framework of the project ‘Open Government: for all people’. The day puts an end to the Open Government Partnership Agreement for Inclusive Communication he signed with Ministry of Finance and Public Service at the end of the year 2021. Taking advantage of this occasion, it has prepared a final document that puts the finishing touch to two years of intense activities that have managed to bring the public administration closer to people who are in a situation of vulnerability or at risk of social exclusion.

Open Government’s Inclusive Communication Campaign
In the framework of commitment 8 of the Fourth Open Government Plan, the General Directorate of Public Governance of the Ministry of Finance and Public Function has litigated the hiring creativity for an Open Government Inclusive Communication Campaign. This campaign aims to:
- Inform and contribute to publicize what is open government, publicize the existence of the Transparency Portal and the existing mechanisms of participation in public life.
- Change attitudes, beliefs and stereotypes about the Administration and contribute to spreading an image of transparent and close administration, facilitating the exercise of rights and contributing to the strengthening of democracy.
- Change the behavior of the population so that they access the Transparency Portal to a greater extent, request information from the Administration, participate in consultation processes of the Administration, and send proposals for the improvement of public services.
