The Open Government Forum is aspace for participation and permanent dialogue between public administrations (state, regional and local) and representatives of civil society, the aim of which is boost collaboration, transparency, participation and accountability. In it they participate, with an equal number of representatives, public administrations and civil society.

Organization of the Open Administration Week.
Approval of the document “Common position of the Spanish Public Administrations on citizen participation”, which was referred to the Europe with EU Citizens Committee.
Creation of the Open Government Forum by Order HFP/134/2018, of February 15, which regains its organization and functions.
Call for prior public consultation on the reform of the Open Government Forum, so that any interested person or organization would have the opportunity to make their contributions or comments to the text. The consultation took place between 16 and 30 January 2026, both inclusive. Report of results
