The following are the responsibility of the Ministry of the Presidency, Relations with the Courts and Equality:
the preparation, development and monitoring of the legislative programme;
immediate support for the Presidency of the Government;
assistance to the Council of Ministers, the Government ' s Delegated Committees, the General Committee of Secretaries of State and Under-Secretaries and, in particular, the Government in its relations with the General Courts;
the inter-ministerial coordination entrusted to it by the provisions in force, the Government or its President;
coordination and analysis of the quality of the Government ' s normative activity;
the functions of material support, economic-financial management, budget, personnel and, in general, any other of this nature required by the President of the Government and the bodies attached to the Presidency of the Government;
the exercise of powers relating to the use of the flag, shield and other national symbols;
as well as the other powers conferred by the legal system;
the proposal and development of the Government ' s policy on equality, the prevention and elimination of all forms of discrimination against persons on grounds of sex, racial or ethnic origin, religion or ideology, sexual orientation or identity, age, disability or any other personal or social condition or circumstance, and the eradication of various forms of violence against women;
the proposal, elaboration and development of rules, actions and measures aimed both at ensuring equal treatment and opportunities, especially between women and men, and at promoting the social, political and economic participation of women;
