Coordination and management of the Department ' s human, financial, technological and material resources.
Reporting of draft standards of other Ministries, coordinating actions within the Ministry and with the other Departments involved in the procedure.
The coordination of the Department’s action abroad, international cooperation, without prejudice to the competences of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, and the coordination, through the Technical General Secretariat, of the Departments of Labour, Migration and Social Security abroad, without prejudice to the competence of the Spanish Embassies or Diplomatic Missions abroad and the direct dependence of the holders thereof, with respect to the Head of Diplomatic Mission, as well as the proper coordination with the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration.
Support for the Data Protection Delegate of the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy in the performance of the functions attributed to him under the legislation in force, providing the necessary resources for the performance of those functions.
Perform as many actions in relation to the social economy and care as are necessary to promote the execution and dissemination of the PERTE of the Social Economy and Care.
To disseminate, promote and promote the policies and plans for the transformation of the value chains of the care sector and the social economy, including both those that correspond to the General Administration of the State in the scope of its competences, and those that may result from the support and collaboration of the other Public Administrations in their respective field of action.
Develop public-private partnerships to ensure access, dynamisation and dissemination of social economy and care projects within the framework of PERTE.
To collaborate and promote the international dialogue of Spain regarding the implementation of the PERTE of the Social Economy and Care.

To serve as an interlocutor with other Ministries and stakeholders, reporting regularly on the development and outcome of the implementation of projects, or of any proposals deemed necessary for the proper fulfilment of the entrusted function.

Royal Decree 502/2024, of 21 Maywhich develops the basic organizational structure of the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy, and amends Royal Decree 1052/2015 of 20 November, which establishes the structure of the Departments of Employment and Social Security abroad and regulates their organization, functions and provision of jobs.
