State of implementation

The Xunta de Galicia approved the General Plan of Management and Improvement of the Quality of Services of the Autonomous Public Sector of Galicia 2021-2023.

In that plan, a specific axis relating to transparency.

As an aspect to be highlighted in this action, it should be noted that 6 new sections were created in the Transparency and Open Government Portal of the Xunta de Galicia, of different typologies, but in addition, to facilitate citizens to know the new sections and contents that are created in the Portal, a new section was incorporated in which the novelties in the Portal are highlighted, which can be consulted in the following link: https://transparencia.xunta.gal/ultimas-novidades/novidades-e-melloras-do-portal.

In addition, in order to give greater visibility to the suggestions channel of the Transparency and Open Government Portal and encourage its use by citizens, a link was provided to the suggestions channel for improvements of the Portal in the first level of navigation. Also, in 2023 a new section was incorporated from which the "Citizen's Budget" can be consulted, which is configured as an instrument of transparency to bring the Autonomous Community's budget closer to the citizens with a clear, simple and accessible language, thus facilitating their understanding by all people.
