Since Spain became part of the Open Government Partnership (OGP), four Open Government Plans have been finalized, with important commitments that have meant breakthroughs In our country:

Progress of the Fourth Open Government Plan 2020-2024

  • Council of Europe Convention on Access to Public Documents (Tromsø Convention).
  • Transposition of the DUE 2019/1024 Through RD-LEY 24/2021, of November 2, to Promote the the opening of data and the reuse of public sector information.
  • Protection of whistleblowersApproval of Law 2/2023, of February 20, Regulating the Protection of Persons Who Report on Normative Violations and Fight against Corruption
  • Diagnosis and improvement of public integrity systems. Development of risk maps, codes of conduct.

  • The promotion of one administrative culture based on the values of Open Government.
