Since Spain became part of the Open Government Partnership (OGP), three Open Government Plans have been finalized, with important commitments that have meant breakthroughs In our country:

Advances of the III Open Government Plan 2017-2019

  • The creation and consolidation of Open Government Forum as a space for joint participation of civil society and public administrations, in the development of Open Government action plans.
  • One participatory web space on Open Government on the Transparency Portal.
  • La improvement of the Transparency Portal.
  • The promotion of Network of Local Entities of transparency and citizen participation.
  • El Diagnosis of citizen participation in the General State Administration.
  • La Open Government Education.
  • The promotion of one administrative culture based on the values of Open Government.
  • La promotion of the right of access From citizenship to public information.

Progress of the Second Open Government Plan 2014-2016

  • The opening of Portal of Transparency of the Government of Spain, a space for the publication of public information and to exercise the right of access.
  • The advance in interoperability and data protection in the Spanish Archives Portal (PAIRS).
  • El Access to educational materials: Procommon platform and MOOC courses.
  • One health data bank at the national level.
  • Geopportales in all Autonomous Communities.
  • The program of Opening up of information and its reuse in the public sector.
  • Improvement of the Justice Administration Portal.
  • Consolidation of National Subsidy Advertising System.
  • The creation of Spanish Council of Drug Addiction, with representatives of the social sector.
