The project is aimed at teachers and students of all educational stages and consists of:
The OECD has recognized Open Government Education as a good practice and has published it in the OECD. Observatory of Innovation in the Public Sector(Observatory of Public Sector Innovation, OPSI).
Open Government Education Guides
The Open Government Education Guides include theoretical and practical aspects of Open Government aimed at teachers and students of Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate Education.
They have been published in collaboration between the National Institute of Educational Technologies and Teacher Training, INTEF (Ministry of Education and Vocational Training) and the General Directorate of Public Governance (Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Service).
Educational guides are also presented in accessible and easy to read mode So that people with reading and/or comprehension difficulties can read and understand them.
The MOOC (massive open online course) of "Open Government Education" brings the fundamental knowledge about Open Government and its pillars: transparency and accountability, public integrity, citizen participation and collaboration. The videos of the MOOC can be consulted in the INTEF’s YouTube space.
The MOOC is especially recommended for teachers and the main objective is to train them to transfer to the students of Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate Education the principles, experiences and values of Open Government.
The methodology is participatory and encourages the contribution to an open and responsible society, in which citizens participate in public affairs. Its online format allows participants flexibility in their execution, as well as obtaining useful resources for the implementation of educational projects in their schools.
These training experiences have been organized by INTEF, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Public Governance, and have been aimed at a broad profile of people interested in education and Open Government.
2nd edition of the MOOC: From October 9 to November 16, 2018. It allowed the obtaining of an accrediting digital badge and a certification corresponding to 70 hours of training for teachers in active schools supported with public funds at all educational levels prior to the university that exceeded this learning experience.
