The Open Administration Cycle is part of the IV Open Government Plan of Spain 2020-2024, within the commitment made by the Ministry of Finance and Public Function to develop awareness and training actions, in order to improve the conditions for the exercise of democratic citizenship, thus contributing to the Sustainable Development Goal 16 of the 2030 Agenda, and to advance in the construction of a fair, peaceful and inclusive society.
The objectives of this Cycle are to inform, sensitize and sensitize citizens about their right of access to public information and participation in public affairs, promoting more active civic behavior.
To this end, a program of free content has been designed, in digital audio and video format, which will be broadcast periodically live through the Youtube channel. "Transparency Portal - Spain", and can be heard on major podcast platforms (Spreaker, iVoox and Spotify).
In this episode our guest is Ignacio Criado, professor of Political Science and director of the Lab Research Group in Innovation, Technology and Public Management of the Autonomous University of Madrid. It talks about topics such as Open Government, transparency and participation and accountability, and presents the book “Open Government, public innovation and citizen collaboration” (from INAP).
