A governance model committed to public integrity contributes to the strengthening and smooth functioning of our democracy. Increasingly, society demands from the Public Administrations guidelines of behavior in accordance with the ethical values shared by all in the defense of the general interest and the common good. Civic values and virtues are the foundation on which fair, peaceful and inclusive societies are built.
But what do we mean by public integrity? What institutions do we need in times of crisis? How to create controls in situations of uncertainty? Why does ethical behavior generate value and contribute to prioritizing public interests over private ones and, ultimately, to the construction of an Open Administration?
