State of implementation

On May 26, 2021, the Institutional Integrity Framework Programme referred to in activity 10.6.1 was approved, which provides for the modification of the Code of Ethics in the aspects indicated in the commitment.

Although the Code of Ethics was not updated from a formal point of view, from a material perspective its contents were updated through other instruments, in particular, the review and updating of the General Plan of Prevention of Management Risks and Anti-Fraud Measures of the Xunta de Galicia carried out on May 19, 2023 meant a real update of the contents of the Code of Ethics, by deepening the institutional declarations of prevention of management risks and anti-fraud measures, in the detailing of the steps to be followed in cases of existence of situations of possible conflict of interests, both of high positions and of public employed personnel and in the adoption of measures of public integrity.

Without prejudice to all these advances, work is being done on the first draft updates of the institutional ethical code of the Xunta de Galicia, so that all these advances of recent years are systematically collected.
