El Digital Training Plan of Andalusia 2022-2025, approved by the Governing Council on December 12, 2022, is the strategic planning of the Junta de Andalucía to position our Autonomous Community at the forefront of digital competences. This strategy is formed around 5 axes of action and 41 measures. Among the measures of the “Axis 1 Digital Competences for Citizenship”, is specifically the “Measure 1.6 Training in Open Data”.
This measure consists of raising awareness and training the Andalusian citizens about the possibilities of access to data that are freely and without restrictions made available to them publicly, so that they can access, share and use them as they see fit. The ultimate objective of this action is therefore to give visibility and usefulness to transparency and open data portals, as well as to promote the inclusion and empowerment of citizens to participate in public activity.
Currently, this initiative is in the bidding phase of a contract that will provide various open data training services, such as the realization of courses and webinars aimed at the general public, as well as personnel from universities, SMEs and the open data reuse community in general. It also includes the celebration of an annual event, type Datathon to increase the dissemination and promotion of the use of data for the generation of economic value.
Throughout the year 2023 and to date, several dissemination and training activities in open data have been carried out. In particular:
