State of implementation
The autonomous community launched in December 2021 a new Open Data Portal that includes new and revised contents, as well as a more current version of the data catalog management tool (ckan), since then it has been incorporating new functionalities and data visualizations. The URL of the portal is as follows: https://juntadeandalucia.es/datosabiertos/portal/
In addition to evolving the Open Data Portal and continuing with the incorporation of new data sets, a News section is created, maintained and updated where information, training and dissemination work is carried out in the field of open data.
In November 2022, the Open Data Portal of the Junta de Andalucía incorporated a new functionality that allows it to offer access through APIs to a significant number of data sets - through ad-hoc queries or through mass download - very interesting functionality to apply to High Value data sets.
The APIs are published openly and free of charge as REST services and their documentation, indicating the operations available and the methods of consultation and exploitation, is accessible as an OpenAPI resource, an open and standard specification of description of REST web services, as well as in the form of a viewer integrated in each data set.
Throughout 2023, improvements have continued to be made to the open data catalog, including new data sets and better visualizations (example). In addition, we are working on a technological update of the components of the web and new functionalities related to compliance with Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/138, which establishes a list of data setsspecific high-value and publication and reuse modalities. Finally, we are also working to improve the contact channels with the reuse community, in relation to the follow-up of requests for data sets and in the response offered.
In 2024, new functionalities are incorporated, highlighting the incorporation of the distinction of high-value datasets in the published open data catalogue, in compliance with Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/138, which establishes a list of datasets.specific high-value and publication and reuse modalities.
