Assessment criteria for the contributions for the III Open Government Plan 2017-2019
When making proposals, the following criteria must be taken into account:
First of all, it is important not to lose sight of the objectives of the Open Government Alliance. This international organization aims to make governments more transparent, accountable and responsive to their citizens, with the aim of improving the quality of government as well as the quality of services that citizens receive. The proposals should therefore contribute to the development of the principles of transparency and access to information, accountability and participation.
The use of technology and innovation is also relevant to the extent that it facilitates openness and offers opportunities for information exchange, public participation and collaboration.
In addition, it is important that the initiatives have a realistic, viable objective that can be fulfilled in a period of two years (June 2017- June 2019).
Its fulfilment must be achieved through the implementation of clear, specific activities that allow measurable results to be obtained.
Finally, proposals with a transformative impact on the public policies on which they affect and which contribute unequivocally to the openness of the Government will be prioritized.
