Invitation to participate in preparatory meetings for the Third Open Government Plan
Spain has been part of the Open Government Alliance since April 2011. Since then, two action plans have been managed in our country, the second of which ended in 2016. It is now time to develop the III Open Government Plan for the period 2017-2019.
To ensure that this Plan has a plural approach, it is essential to have the participation of the different Public Administrations (General Administration of the State, Autonomous and Local) and Civil Society, maximizing collaboration and debate in its conception and development.
Among the representatives of civil society, it is considered appropriate to have the participation of associations and foundations of a private nature whose social purpose is related to open government and transparency.
For this reason, the Directorate-General for Public Governance invites nominations for participation in the meetings for the preparation of the Third Open Government Plan to organizations that meet the following requirements:
Be an association or foundation of a private and non-profit nature.
Be registered in the Spanish public registry at the state or regional level corresponding to its legal nature.
Ensure democratic participation within it and act transparently in the development of its social object activities and accountability.
That its social object is related to activities of open government and transparency.
Have developed or participated in the last three years in activities or projects related to open government and transparency.
Organizations that meet the above requirements and wish to participate in such meetings should complete, by 8 March 2017,the next form.
Alternatively you can send to the open government email@mpr.es the following downloadable form with all the data: Form of participation
In the event of detecting any incident, please inform the open government@mpr.es
The Directorate General of Public Governance will invite six persons representing the candidate entities that meet the aforementioned requirements to participate in the meetings for the preparation of the III Open Government Plan.
In the event that the candidacies exceed this number, the greater territorial implantation, the greater seniority, the greater connection of its social object with the activities of open government and the greater number of activities or projects deployed in this field in the last 3 years will be taken into account.
For this purpose, more information may be requested from the candidate entities.
Likewise, a list may be drawn up with alternate entities that may be summoned.
