After carrying out the first evaluations with the Civil Protections of the Autonomous Communities of Galicia, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Madrid, Extremadura, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, Asturias and Cantabria, working groups are created in all of them to evaluate the possible changes of the areas and thresholds.
This activity required not only the collection of information and requirements to the CC.AA, every year, in 2022 meetings were held with the civil partitions of the CC.AA along with the central services. Meetings were also held with agencies such as the Carlos III Health Institute, the Ministry of Health, the General Directorate of Environmental Quality and the General Directorate of Water, to establish more ambitious approaches, adapting to the requirements of the WMO.
In May 2024, the procedures for consulting the new user requirements are established.
Ha ha created the Observatory of Health and Climate Change and together with the Carlos III Institute of Health and the Ministry of Health have aligned the meteoalert plans and the heat plan 2024.
