State of implementation

The award for the elaboration of the draft Strategy of conservation of the cormorant was made in February 2021; after the previous work of the contents to be treated in the workshop.

Workshops were scheduled for the first quarter of 2022, which would be carried out in a disaggregated way according to the different distribution areas of the management units of the cormorant, which has distribution throughout the Spanish coast, and various meetings will be held with the different administrations

Within the framework of the drafting of the Cormorant Conservation Strategy bitch, Two workshops were held in January and February 2022, in which representatives of the environmental and fisheries administrations of all the CCAA, as well as experts in the species, participated.
