State of implementation

The initiative has been limited to the evaluability and publication of indicators relating to grants contained in the Strategic Grants Plan 2018-2020 or the next one when it is approved.

The reprogrammed project aims to promote the adoption of indicators and their publication in the grants, through their incorporation in the elaboration of the next Pstrategic lan of CAIB Grants 2024-2026, which represent 25% of the total cost of all of them.

In the document “Criteria for drafting and presenting the subsidy lines to be included in the Strategic Subsidy Plan of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands for the years 2024-2026”addressed to the departments and autonomous bodies and the public business bodies that depend, except the consortia, it was established, as a novelty, that the subsidy lines the amount of which is equal to or greater than 1,000,000 euros had to include performance indicators, in order to be able to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the subsidies granted by the Administration of the Autonomous Community. In addition, in the event that it is not possible or inefficient to set performance indicators, it had to be carefully motivated.

In the Strategic Grants Plan of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands for the financial years 2024-2026approved by the Governing Council Agreement of 19 April 2024 (BOIB 52 of 20/04/2024), the results indicators were included. It is estimated that outcome indicators have been included to evaluate grants that represent 73% of the total cost of all grants included in the Plan, exceeding the 25% initially foreseen.
