State of implementation

During the first quarter of 2021 the new open data portal of the Canary Islands and established the automated periodic update procedure with the national portal, datos.gob.es. The update is weekly.

On the other hand, the internal procedure of periodic updating was defined, both with the Territorial Information System of the Canary Islands (SITCAN) and with the Canary Institute of Statistics (ISTAC), this also being weekly to guarantee homogeneity in the criterion. At the moment, work is being done on automating this task, as it is done manually.

Work was also begun with some departments and agencies, reaching agreements on the periodicity of updating the information published in datos.canarias.es and the management console of the ETL (Extract - Transform - Load) of the Canary Islands Government was published.

Currently, the resources of the open data portal of the Canary Islands They are updated periodically and automatically. This is the case with the information of the Organigram of the Government of the Canary Islands. This information is published periodically and automatically in the open data portal of the Canary Islands, thus closing the circle where the culture of transparency and public value, government accountability and the reuse of public sector information are exemplified, all of which are fundamental pillars of open government. In addition, a new API has been incorporated in the open data portal of the Canary Islands, for public use, which allows to consume the events of the agendas for the transparency of the senior positions that are published in the portal of the Organigram.

The resources of the open data portal of the Canary Islands have been increased and are updated periodically and automatically. To this end, use has been made of the ETL management console (CoETL) that allows to parameterize and configure the automatic execution of ETLs.
