State of implementation

Aragon was the first Autonomous Community that since the beginning of April 2020 began to offer relevant information of Covid-19 in easy reading (what is it and how does the state of alarm affect you, therapeutic outings, use of videoconferences, signage…), within the project “Easy Government”, which had just started when the state of alarm and confinement was decreed.

The fourth most visited page of the Transparency Portal during 2020 was Easy Government.

Statistical data on transparency

The document with the highest number of downloads in the month of September 2020 was the “Coronavirus Questionnaire” in easy reading. Throughout 2020 it was the third most downloaded document on the Transparency Portal.

In 2021 the Government of Aragon has advanced in make it easier for people with cognitive difficulties to read court judgments, but also to other groups such as the elderly or those who have problems with the language.

It has been adapted to easy reading the Resource and Service Guide for Aragonese Women https://transparencia.aragon.es/GobiernoFacil

Progress has been made in four workshops in the adaptation to easy reading of the I Comprehensive Plan of Action for People with Disabilities in Aragon 2021-2024. In a few days, the adapted document will be published in the Transparency Portal.
