She has been a member of the Research Council of the European Institut University (based in Florence) and evaluator of the European Research Council (EU), as well as other Spanish evaluation and quality agencies. He has also been part of the Spanish Group of Experts of the Fundamental Rights Agency of the EU.
She has developed her teaching and research work mainly on fundamental rights in Europe, including data protection and equality of women and men.
In addition to the written work, Professor Gómez Sánchez has carried out a relevant R&D&I management work as principal investigator of the consolidated Research Group “Innovation, Research and Fundamental Rights” and has been principal investigator of competitive research projects.

In relation to this last topic he has published the work “Balance, effects and proposals on the application of the Law of transparency in the Congress of Deputies”, in White Paper on democratic quality in Spain, Marcial Pons, Madrid, 2018.
