Closed Participatory Processes

The IV Open Government Plan of Spain, approved on October 29, 2020, has ended its second year of validity. The Open Government Alliance (OGP) establishes for the four-year action plans that, at the end of the second year of implementation of the Plan, the persons responsible for it will prepare a report evaluating the progress made in the fulfillment of the commitments and that the Plan will be reviewed and updated as appropriate.This process must be developed with a participatory approach and in collaboration with the public and social actors involved.

PUBLIC CONSULTATION

The General Directorate of Public Governance of the Ministry of Finance and Public Function convened a Public Consultation on the draft Evaluation Report for the review and, where appropriate, updating, of the IV Open Government Plan of Spain 2020-2024, so that any interested person or organization would have the opportunity to make their contributions or comments to the text.

This draft Report listed and described in detail the progress made so far in meeting the commitments, initiatives and activities provided for in the Plan, as well as the areas of improvement identified or the difficulties identified two years after its approval. In addition, it contains a series of recommendations that will be taken into account in the update of the IV Plan.

The Consultation was developed from 29 November to 12 December 2022, both inclusive, a through a form.

CONSULTATION OF THE OPEN GOVERNMENT FORUM

Before the development of the public consultation, the draft Report was sent to the members of the Open Government Forum to make their contributions, according to the agreed calendar for the review of progress and updating of the Fourth Open Government Plan.

RESULTS

The General Directorate of Public Governance of the Ministry of Finance and Public Function, once the process of Public Consultation on the draft Evaluation Report for the review and, where appropriate, update, of the IV Open Government Plan of Spain 2020-2024 has been completed, publicizes the final Report, as well as the updated version of the IV Open Government Plan of Spain.
