The State Anti-Corruption Plan fulfils the commitments made in the Informant Protection Act and deploys a strategy of action in the areas of transparency, good governance of the Administrations and combating corruption.
Its elaboration is based on the recommendations of the Group of States against Corruption of the Council of Europe (GRECO), the OECD and the European Commission.
It incorporates valuable contributions from civil society, through joint work with the Open Government Forum and experts from the Anti-Corruption and Integrity Division in the OECD Government.
It has 5 axes:
Prevention of corruption
Effective protection of people who report irregularities and/or cases of corruption.
Effective response to cases of corruption already detected.
Recovery of assets derived from corrupt activities as an essential element to repair the damage caused to the public interest.
Promotion of the anti-corruption culture among citizens, companies and administrations.
