A la Secretaría de Estado de Economía Social, bajo la superior autoridad de la persona titular del Departamento, le corresponde desarrollar la política del Gobierno en materia de economía social y de responsabilidad social de las empresas.

7. The delegate of protection of data from ministry of labour and Social economy in the discharge of the functions assigned to the current legislation, to provide the necessary resources for the discharge of these functions.

2. Disseminate, promote and advance policy and plans for the transformation of value chains in the care and the social economy, including both those within the General state Administration, within their sphere of competence, such as those to be the support and collaboration of other Public Administrations in their respective Niche.
3. Develop collaboration público-privada to ensure access, promotion and dissemination of the projects of the social economy and of care within the framework of the LOSS.
4. Collaborate and promote international exchanges of spain on the implementation of the LOSS of the Social economy and of care.
5. Coordinate and to put in place measures and follow-up initiatives in collaboration with other ministerial bodies and agencies involved in the LOSS.
6. Serve as a partner with other ministries and partners, to report regularly on the development and achievement of the implementation of projects, or number of proposals may be necessary for the proper performance of the mandated role.
7. Any other proceedings conferred upon him by the secretariat of state with competence in the field of social economy.
