The System of Integrity of the General State Administration (SIAGE) includes a specific chapter dedicated to drawing the framework of activities and means of training and dissemination of the different elements of the System. These elements include a code of good administration, aimed at public employees and employees, and a code of good governance aimed at the top positions of the AGE. Both codes contain values that are designed to guide and guide public employees and senior officials in the exercise of all their public activities, facilitating the prevention and detection of situations that may lead to potential risks of corruption and that allow to properly identify situations that may give rise to possible conflicts of interest.
The training of public sector personnel in ethics and integrity is an ongoing activity, and therefore, in the program of training activities for the year 2024 of the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP), training actions have been incorporated for sensitization in fundamental values and principles such as equality, and public integrity and ethics. To this end, training actions such as “Integrity in public procurement”, “Orientation to citizenship: open government, good governance and integrity”, “Public integrity and artificial intelligence” and “Integrity, transparency and citizen participation” have been included.
It is also envisaged to influence the assimilation of public principles and values through the selective courses of public employees of new income and internal promotion.
