The Administration of the Community of Madrid is teaching accessibility courses on web portals aimed at public employees, in which more than 250 students have participated since 2022.
Made one pollto the commissioners and web commissioners and the people responsible for web offices of the Community of Madrid, one of the target groups of the training in Clear Communication. The objective is to know your opinion on the application in your daily work of the guidelines included in the Clear Communication Guide And better understand your needs and expectations in order to design a specific training for web managers that adapts to what is really useful for your work.
To encourage participation in this study, meetings have been held in which the purpose of this survey has been explained and the form of distribution has been explained, facilitating as much as possible their response.
The survey was launched on May 4, 2021, to a population of 302 web commissioners and people responsible for the web. The final sample consisted of 172 editorial staff and web managers, which means a margin of error of 4.9% for a level of confidence of 95%, therefore, we can consider that the results are representative of the group to which it has been surveyed.
As conclusions, it is possible to highlight the analysis of the difficulties to make the contents more accessible and comprehensible from the vision of the citizen and that of the web manager, as well as the need to implement different additional resources to apply the guide, expanding the training in clear communication, design, graphic resources, writing, editing, technologies and accessibility.
An executive report has been produced and distributed to the group concerned.
