State of implementation
The training plan, for the purposes of this report, is linked to the work to update the training catalogue of the Mentor program, its alignment with the National Catalogue of Professional Qualifications and the provision of the network of Mentor Classrooms to configure their training plan, that is, their specific offer in relation to their vectors of growth and the training needs of the population of their municipality; particularly of women in rural areas.
This being so, it should be noted that, as part of the catalog of Aula Mentor courses, between the last quarter of 2020 and the first half of 2021, 112 new courses have been designed that configure training itineraries according to units of competence referenced to the National Catalogue of Qualifications and that, after their official accreditation through the procedure of evaluation and accreditation of professional competences (PEAC), allow their capitalization in the form of a professional training degree or certificate of professionalism.
The offer of courses that, in principle, are not referenced to the National Catalogue of Professional Qualificationsbut they contribute to the development of competences in areas of special interest (basic and digital competences, among others) or which are directly linked to the cultural development of the potential beneficiaries of the Programme.
In addition, it is appropriate to inform about the works that are being carried out linked to the design of theCourse “Open Administration and Citizenship. Transparency, Participation and Public Innovation”, which will be part of the Mentor Training Catalogue and will have as first recipients the administrators and administrators of the whole network of Mentor Classrooms; particularly those dependent on local territorial entities.
As a result, as of October 2021, the Mentor Program makes available to the more than 900 Mentor Classrooms, more than 200 distance courses that allow local entities to offer non-formal training for professional qualification and requalification, according to the vectors of creation of the municipality and needs of its population.
