Comisión Sectorial de Gobierno Abierto
The sectoral commission on Open Government is aarea of coordination, collaboration between different public administrationsfor the exchange of experiences and the development and follow-up of joint initiatives in the area of open government.
This is a collegiate Body interadministrativa cooperation of a technical nature, for the establishment of measures, strategies, objectives and guidelines on Open Government, which can raise its proposals to the sectoral conference on Public Administration (seeThe rules of procedure of the sectoral conference on public administration,adopted on 22 october 2018).
The Sectoral Commission was established on 6 march 2017, at the meeting between representatives of the General state administration, from Regional Administrations and local authorities, through the spanish federation of municipalities and provinces (FEMP) (seepress release). Main activities:
Participation in the design and monitoring of the plans of action of open government.
Coordination of education in Open government.
Adoption of the “ common position of the spanish Public Administrations on citizen participation ”, which was submitted to the committee Europe with eu citizens.
