State of implementation
The commitment to increase training opportunities for women in the rural context, within the framework of this activity, is associated with the expansion of the current network of Mentor Classrooms to less densely populated municipalities, as foreseen in the Plan for the Modernization of Vocational Training.
In this regard, from November 2020 to October 2021, three calls for proposals have been activated.grants to local authorities and public bodies dependent on local authorities for the creation of open, distance learning classrooms with information and communication technologies through Aula Mentor. Namely:
To publicize each of the calls held, the collaboration of organizations that are considered to have a role to promote the implementation of the Aula Mentor Program has been counted, fundamentally thinking of doing so in less densely populated municipalities. This is the case of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), the Federation of Rural Women's Associations (FADEMUR), the Spanish Federation of Popular Universities (FEUP) and the network of Local Development Agents.
All these institutions have been sent a summary document on the highlights of each of the calls, which they have disseminated according to their usual channels of internal communication among their partners.
In addition, other channels of dissemination that have been replicated for each of the calls have been used, such as the Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe (EPALE), the Aula Mentor Web, the Web of the Ministry of Education and Professional Training, the Web of the Spanish Federation of Popular Universities and the Web of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.
It is illustrated here with those relating to the November 2020 call for proposals and with the press release on the October 2021 call for proposals:
