The then Ministry of Transparency, Participation and Public Administration through its General Directorate of Open Government and Cooperation in collaboration with the General Directorate of Educational Innovation and Attention to Diversity has convened the Educational Program of “Open Government Education in Educational Centers”, for the 2020/2021 school year.
A total of 9 primary and secondary schools have been selected and teacher training begins on April 12.
The participating educational centers assume the following commitments:
Implementation of the program.
Designate a coordinator of the program who will contact the training technician, and who will be in charge of communicating the information to the rest of the teachers who participate in it.
At least one teacher of the center will carry out the training established for the development of the program.
To launch and promote the Program “Open Government Education in Educational Centers”, the Cloister will actively collaborate in it and facilitate the necessary organizational and operational measures.
Evaluation of the Program “Open Government Education in Educational Centers” before June 30, which will be included in the center’s Annual Report. They may be drawn up in accordance with the guidelines set out in Annex II.
Complete and send the documentation that is requested from the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Transparency, Participation and Public Administration.
Facilitate the attendance of teachers and students to the workshops of the program.
The teacher training is being carried out between the dates of April 12 to May 24, 2021 and is taught by the technicians of the General Directorate of Open Government and Cooperation. As a final project, the implementation of a transparency portal by the participating centers has been proposed, in which the minimum contents established through a participatory process among the recipients of the website are published. The structure of the aforementioned Portal is provided by the General Directorate of Open Government and Cooperation.
And finally, in the CARM Transparency Portal, was incorporated as featured content through a banner, on the home page.
This educational program has been convened during the academic year 2021-2022, having received the training of the management and teaching staff of the affiliated centers, following the structure of the previous call.
Likewise, the information corresponding to the course 2022-2023 is updated. The Open Government Education Educational Program will be convened in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, which will include teacher training in Open Government, workshops in a specific number of affiliated primary and secondary education centers, and the implementation of a project of transparency or citizen participation.
A promotional video of the educational program is being designed. All information will be provided on the CARM citizen participation platform.
