State of implementation

The modification of the Internal instruction on the management of requests for the right of access to public information (to replace the current Instruction of April 30, 2019, on the management of requests for the right of access to public information) was intended the simplification and streamlining of responses to erroneously formulated requests for access to public information for being related to issues related to public information and that must follow another channel, such as information already published and accessible in other portals of Junta de Extremadura such as information of a tax nature, public employment, administrative procedures available electronically, etc.

With the aforementioned purpose, the content of the Transparency Portal has been redesigned so that, in a way, prior to accessing the electronic application form, the interested party obtains information on the assumptions that constitute or not requests for access to public information. Such action in the field of information and awareness of Citizens has resulted in the substantial reduction of erroneously formulated requests, which makes the amendment of the Internal Instruction on Access to Public Information unnecessary, since the amendment aimed as a fundamental objective the objective achieved with the information and awareness action carried out.
