Axis Formation. 5.1: Training of Public Employees
Objective
To train public employees in the conceptual bases, values, tools and strategies of open government.- Empowering and reinforcing public employee attitudes in their relationship with citizens based on transparency, accountability, participation and collaboration.
- Promote the internalization of the obligations and commitments of public employees in their relationship with citizens.
- Apply criteria based on knowledge of the values of open government to the selection of new public employees.
- Improve the quality of public services.
It is structured in groups of activities.

In order to promote better use of resources, INAP will be able to make available to local entities and the Institutes and Training Schools of the Autonomous Communities the virtual courses it produces. 30/06/2018: In May, the contents of the following courses were uploaded to the SHARE platform:
06/30/2019: The operation of the SHARE platform is currently being reviewed. As soon as the new functionalities are available, the increase of the courses on which INAP has acquired the intellectual property rights will be completed. |

| 05d. Training of personnel of public service offices | Sep-17 | jun-19 | | 31/03/2018: Two training activities have been scheduled to be attended by the public during the month of May. For the month of June, two more actions are scheduled, one of them of attention to the culturally diverse public. 30/06/2018: In the months of March and May, two face-to-face training actions were carried out on “Information and Multichannel Attention to the Citizen” of 25 hours, forming a total of 66 students. In March, the 25-hour “Multi-Channel Care for Disability” course with 26 trained students was held at INAP headquarters. In the months of May and June an online course on “Attention and information to citizens” was held in which 60 students participated. As well as the celebration of a face-to-face course of 15 hours and 30 participants on “Attention to culturally diverse public”. An online course on “Attention and information to citizens” and a face-to-face course on “Attention and information to citizens” are scheduled for the second half of 2018. 12/31/2018: An online course on “Attention and information to citizens” was held from 22/10 to 23/11 2018 with a total of 25 hours of training and 60 students, three face-to-face courses: “Multi-channel attention to disability” from 15 to 19 October, 25 hours long and 27 students trained, and a course on “Information and multi-channel attention to the citizen”, held from 26 to 30 November, 25 hours long and 29 students trained. |

Review of selective programs for access to the public service and incorporation of content on open government. | JUN-17 | Ene-18 | | 12/31/2017: The topics of the selection processes, the opposition phase, for access to the public service have been revised, and Open Government content has been introduced in the programmes for access to the bodies of the AGE, the selection of which is managed by the Permanent Selection Commission. Programs of access 31/03/2018: Training programmes for managers and new or internal staff are being analysed, incorporating Open Government content.
