At the meeting of the Working Group on Transparency and Accountability of the Open Government Forum on November 2, 2021, the constitution of the Open Government was presented by the Sub-Directorate General.Working group for the reform of the Transparency Law.
The objective of this working group is to bring together a group of experts, with a legal profile if possible, who will collaborate with the General Directorate of Public Governance in the initiative for the reform of the Law on Transparency, Access to Information and Good Governance, to adapt it to the national and international context in the matter and to introduce improvements, and whose scope should be outlined in the procedures for consultation and public hearing, foreseen in the Fourth Open Government Plan.
The working group, following the model of the Permanent Commission of the Forum, must have a joint composition, composed of 6 members representing the Public Administrations and 6 members representing civil society organizations, members of the Open Government Forum.
The working subgroup of the reform of Law 19/2013, of 9 December, on transparency, access to public information and good governance of the Open Government Forum held its first meeting on 28 January 2022. The constitution of the subgroup was ratified by the Open Government Forum at the meeting of March 10, 2022
