Status of implementation

Since the year 2020, it was working on the newopen data portal de Canarias., which was launched in february 2021. Within this website, has been published(the “ legal notice and terms of use ”, establishing a level playing field with regard to the conditions for use and reuse of documents and resources available to the citizenship.

Meanwhile, in many of the open data published in the open data portal de Canarias apply the standards set by the technical standard for interoperability (NTI), but it is necessary to revise and adapt others. This requires a team of a technical staff and responsible linked to the project, with appropriate training of individual departments and agencies, as already indicated in the10.28.2 activity. Thus, since the General directorate of transparency and citizen participation have been sought contacts of this personnel and has been promoted, within theTraining Plan for 2021of the institute of public administration, a training event called “ open Data within the framework of Open Government ”, whose objective is to conduct training in subjects such as reuse in the public sector institutions, improving data quality and its openness in governance, etc.

The protocol for the opening of data was submitted, this year, to the high commission for public administration of public administration, autonomous community of The Canary Islands and the network Interadministrativa Canaria of open government. This protocol contains the conditions to play in the opening of data and the standards that can be used in the case of open data portal de Canarias. This is a living document, and as such, would evolve accordingly. Ejemplo is that the current version has been incorporated:

  • A guide of standardization of data
  • A guide for uploading joint handbook and resources in datos.canarias.es
  • A fact which helps to collect the information necessary to create joint collections in the open data portal de Canarias.
  • Several graphics that facilitate understanding of the protocol and to the publication of data sets

We must remember that already had:

  • The protocol for the opening of data and technical annex
  • A template of data collection of contact
  • A template to help realize the inventory and joint prioritization
  • A template that helps to collect the information necessary to incorporate sets and resources in datos.canarias.es

Moreover, the support team to carry out the tasks of adaptation of open data available to the existing standards and interoperability.
